  1. Viewing their real estate portfolios holistically and strategically.
  2. Providing cross-border, multiple service line solutions via single point of access and accountability.?
  3. Creating better alignment of real estate strategies to their respective overall business priorities.
  4. Providing measurable accountability.
  5. Gathering appropriate data for decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has oversight of Asset Management, Property Management, Project Management for the Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States, defined as Washington, DC; Tyson?s Corner, VA; Bethesda, MD; and Baltimore, MD. In this region, this position has bottom line financial and operational responsibility for these services lines. It is responsible for overseeing the implementation of policies, procedures and programs that are responsive to the goals and objectives of C&W?s major Investor clients.

This position works closely with Capital Markets, Debt, Leasing, and VAS to cross-market to Investor Clients in order to present integrated solutions to Investors.? This position provides marketing support in engaging clients and determining overall client needs in order to be responsive to local, regional RFP.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Complete responsibility and oversight of the Firm?s Asset Management, Property Management, Project Management function in the Mid-Atlantic Region, including management of the employees, client relationships and new business.
  • Manage, lead and drive results for defined list of key regional priorities.
  • Lead the development of strategic plans and provide real estate strategic advice to clients
  • Cross sell services through needs analysis
  • Execute strategies by developing action plans
  • Participate in the presentation of C&W?s capabilities for new business development
  • Research industries and corporations for new business development
  • Ensure overall service delivery, quality and timeliness
  • Responsible for working with customers? Asset Management groups at all levels and identifying real estate needs and introducing appropriate C&W service line
  • Oversee the preparation of the annual business plan for the firm?s Property Management and Agency Leasing groups in the Mid-Atlantic Region
  • Responsible for approving all positions and directing the hiring, training and motivational activities of the firm?s senior PM and AL staff in the Mid-Atlantic Region

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10 + years of Asset Management and Property Management experience
  • Strong leadership in Commercial Real Estate community
  • Must have strong management and leadership skills and experience with human resource and performance management processes
  • Excellent oral and written communications and negotiating skills required
  • Excellent analytical and statistical skills required; demonstrated ability to analyze financial and operating data and utilize structured decision making processes
  • Strong experience in preparing proposals, pricing services, responding to RFP?s and leading presentations for Investor Services assignments.

EDUCATION

  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor Degree/MBA. An undergraduate degree in finance, real estate or architecture is preferred.
