United Talent Agency, a leading talent agency based in Beverly Hills, CA, is seeking a Head of Human Resources. The individual in this role will be a key contributor to strategic initiatives that facilitate HR effectiveness, and will be responsible for developing and deploying HR best practices. The Head of HR will consult on a wide range of HR generalist, operational and analytical activities. The Head of HR will drive HR activities that align the business strategy with the human capital strategy in order to positively impact business performance. The Head of HR will provide collaboration/leadership to employees at all levels across the Agency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Generalist/Leadership of all HR functions including but not limited to compensation, recruitment/talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, training and development, confidential investigations and conflict resolution
Create and implement sustainable HR solutions across the Agency
Oversee all employee relations
Recommend best employee benefit solutions and programs to ensure most current and best practices are being used in relation to employee benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, LTD, life insurance, FSA plans, COBRA and 401k
Develop and execute recruitment strategies for key talent
Conduct internal investigations relating to sensitive employee issues
Conduct exit interviews for all exiting staff
Create and foster a positive culture within the Agency that provides continuous feedback, support and empowerment
Work with leadership to constantly evaluate and improve HR department performance and its products
Manage performance issues and terminations in collaboration with the Legal department
Provide counseling and assistance to employees and all levels of management
Provide subject matter expertise on State and Federal employment laws, practices and policies, as well as compensation, wage and hour and benefits administration issues
Continually monitor and maintain company policies and procedures, and manage the overall company and corporate communication plans.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
? Bachelor's Degree required
? Minimum 10 years relevant HR management experience, preferably in a Manager or Generalist role
? PHR or SPHR certification preferred
? Previous entertainment industry and/or professional services experience highly preferred
? Demonstrated knowledge of applicable State and Federal employment laws and general business practices required
? Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
? Working knowledge of ADP/HRB payroll systems and software
